How does buying on loopcity work?
To buy items, you'll need to create an loopcity account (it's free and easy). You purchase items on loopcity directly from the seller, using whatever payment you specify when checking out (e.g. PayPal, money order, check etc.). Keep in mind that every seller must be paid individually, and all payments must be made within seven days of checkout. Each seller will have their own return policy (if they have one at all), shipping options and payment terms. If you have any questions about any of these, it's best to contact the seller directly before making the purchase.

How does the shopping cart work?
As you shop around and find items that suit your fancy, add them to your cart. Note: items in your cart are not removed from the site or reserved for you, until you complete the checkout process. The majority of items on loopcity are one-of-a-kind and thus tend to sell out quickly, so it's a bit risky to leave items in your cart for too long. Once you've got everything you want, click the big green Checkout button and following the onscreen instructions.

Why am I required to register before being able to buy anything?
Our feedback system relies on being able to identify the parties involved in every transaction. Your username is the unique identifier which makes this possible.

Is loopcity is USD and how do I handle currency conversions?
Right now you can only list items in USD on loopcity . PayPal (credit card sales) will automatically convert your currency, but all other sales such as money order and check need to be calculated by you. We have plans to offer built-in currency conversion, but as of right now it doesn't exist.

What is PayPal, how does it work on loopcity , and how do I buy items with it?
loopcity facilitates payments through a third-party service called PayPal™. Sellers must register a Business or Premier account with PayPal, which lets buyers pay securely using their credit card. The buyer does not have to be a member of this service in order to submit a payment.

How does the feedback system work?
You may leave a feedback rating of positive or negative and a textual comment for users whom you've been involved in a transaction with. Your feedback score is the cumulative total of all positives (+1) and negatives (-1) you receive. To leave feedback, login, go to Your loopcity > Feedback, and you'll see all items awaiting your feedback there.

As a buyer, how I do I report any problems with an item?
If an item you pay for is not shipped by the seller, or is significantly not as described, please email support@loopcity.com with your username and the item number, and we'll quickly work to resolve the situation. You may also leave appropriate feedback for the seller who failed to ship the item or describe it properly.
